CNC Punching
CNC Punching is a machining process performed by NCT (Numerical Control Turret Punch Press).
Thanks to 24-year equipped with an Amada AE 2510NT machine, we have the chance of process all kinds of high-precision sheet metal parts.
With a maximum pressure force of 200KN, generally we can process materials up to a thickness of 6mm without any problems.
Features
Achievement Of Stable High Speed Processing
- Slug Pulling-Less Punching – Less slug pulling achieved stable high speed punching
- Fine Contouring
Achievement Of High Quality Processing
- High speed deburring – Labor and time consuming deburring is automated and speeded up
- Slotting – Realized without tool overlap marks that eliminates manual filing work
- High speed marking-Secondary operations are remarkably being efficient
Achievement Of Process Integration
- High speed forming – Parts can be formed to desired shapes and dimensions without using special tools
- Downward forming – Parts can be formed at high speed without damage and scratches
- Safety inch bending -Minimal flanges can be automatically bent
Formed Hole Customized
A major characteristic of stamping processing is that laser processing cannot achieve it, which means various forming processes can be carried out according to different combinations of forming molds.
The typical formed shape is as follows:

Mesh Metal Sheet Fabrication
Another unparalleled advantage of CNC punching machines compared to laser cutting machine is the efficiency and cost of mesh plate processing. In mass production, compared to laser processing, CNC punching has lower costs and faster speeds, and the combination of the two kind of machines can achieve the fastest delivery time.
Wisdometal undertook a $400,000 aluminum mesh plate welding order from a European customer in the winter of 2023. The customer had high requirements for processing accuracy, appearance, and flatness, and requested delivery of the first batch of one container of products within 2 weeks. For such a high difficulty order, we used a combination method of multiple CNC punching machines and laser cutting machines, and we increase the manpower involved in the subsequent processes. Eventually, we successfully completed the first batch of orders, and the final delivery time was half a month ahead of the customer’s set time.
